My only mission this week is to somehow get my hands on an omelet. You’d think my priorities might be finish your term paper or study for your final, but no. There are far more important things at stake here, friends.

I keep forgetting to put money in my checking account because I have like one dollar in there..
But I’m afraid if I do I’ll either spend too much money on a) food, or b) shoes.

Here is my take on Herb Deviled Eggs. The best part of all is eating them to your heart’s content and feeling an overwhelming joy and satisfaction inside your belly. But the next batch for Round Two will be awaiting…
I used 6 hard-cooked eggs, peeled and cut lengthwise.
My filling comprises of:
- 1/4 light mayonnaise (another alternative is salad dressing)
- 1/2 teaspoon dry ground mustard powder
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 Relish (the secret ingredient)**
Note: I suggest you use paprika or scallions (green onions), like I did, for garnish! Also, the filling of this recipe is on the firm side. If you like, you may add a tad more mayo if you would like it a bit softer and creamier.
Add these ingredients together and mix thoroughly. Then fill the empty egg white shells with the mixture and sprinkle lightly with paprika or the scallions (green onion). :D
Lastly, cover lightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate for up to one day before serving. But if you’re like me, you can start popping them in your mouth like popcorn when your creations are complete.
Herb Deviled Eggs are perfect for the following:
- The Winter season
- House party: “Appetizers”
- Sleepovers with your Best Friends
- In between Breakfast and Lunch snack
- Finals week of School: A Date with Deviled Eggs at Midnight to awaken the mind, body, and soul.
- A surprise gift for the Neighbors!
- Picnic with your Boyfriend ;-)
Enjoy!

I know I already did a plug to you all about my friend’s food blog, but she is fantastic because LOOK she is cooking! And I don’t even like eggs that much but this looks fantastic. She is the most endearing creature you will ever encounter, I swear.

and I was SO HAPPY and HONORED to eat with the fat cats themselves tonight, pictured above. After a great day at the beach, laughing at the most random things, screaming and singing…eating at Gyukaku just MADE it. Oh, and let’s not forget about Totoro. Screaming “totoro!!!!” while sticking a mini totoro stuffed doll out of the car window….priceless. Best Friday night everz. Love my friends.
Couldn’t have said it better.

My best friend Adrienne just started a food blog — she really loves food. I’m sure you all have a friend who “loves food” but she fuckin loves food. I bought her like all the Julia Child books for Christmas once.
I encourage you to check it out, it’s definitely going to be good.

And my brother was getting it out to eat some cookie dough. I helped myself to a spoonful and all of a sudden, like a poor little child who’s about to take the first lick of an ice cream cone, it falls. The huge chunk of cookie dough on my spoon plummets to the floor.
I am speechless. And all my brother can say is: “You are the worst person.” And I can do nothing but agree.
